Julia was born in the UK and moved to Corfu in the 1980’s where she was married and has been living ever since. Throughout the years she has always been involved in the Art Arena of the island and previously Internationally with lecturing languages and Interior Design with an associate institution of the esteemed Glion University of hospitality and Tourism. Initially she was drawn to Fine Art and qualified to then progress and obtain a degree SIAD in Fashion Design at the Bolton Technical college of Art in England. Relocating to Corfu Greece inspired her to further her career with other Art forms with an abundance of topics and materials to dedicate herself to her passion of creativity, Several of her paintings and artworks have been commissioned and can be found at various commercial and cultural venues.

Over the years her heart has been in painting and with recent events of the Covid Lockdown she felt compelled to use this time to create paintings of the positive beauty of the island, of which surrounds her daily life. The name of her first collection evolved “A breath of fresh Air” which led to capturing the thought provoking sunrise/sunsets/and seascapes and the lush beauty of nature in its true glory. In addition to she paints with an emotive signature of life seen through her eyes of Contemporary aspects of expressionism and again we can find an original’ individual concept of her Art.
